Max Pies Furniture in Batavia, New York, was founded by Max Pies in 1905, and it has remained in business at its current location since then. Philip Pies, Max's grandson, has owned and operated the business since 1970 when he assumed ownership from his father, Sam, and his uncle, Jake. Philip's son, Steven, is now the family's 4th generation in the business.
